Thurrock: Fatal Crash In A13 Lay-by
A driver has died after his collided with a lorry in a lay-by on the A13 near Stanford-le-Hope. Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on the London-bound carriageway shortly before 11am on Wednesday November 7.
Both carriageways were closed initially while emergency vehicles were called to the scene.
The eastbound carriageway reopened shortly after 12 noon but the London-bound carriageway will be opened and closed periodically to allow traffic to pass while police carry out investigations.
